When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” Mark 2:1-5
Last Friday in Uth Nation we studied this passage in a teaching titled Game Changers. This story has strengthened my faith. It wasn't compassion for this crippled man that moved Jesus, but rather it was the faith of the paralytic man's friends. I don't know about you, but as for me, I would love for the lives around me to be transformed by God for God and my faith being the crutch used to get that life saved.
We really don't know if these four men were even friends of the paralytic man, but one this is for sure, these men did whatever they could to get him to Jesus. These men knew and believed that Jesus could do something for this man. How many family members, friends, coworkers, acquaintances, strangers, friends or family members of friends that we know are in need of Jesus? What are we doing to get them to Him?
May our prayers be prayers of mountain moving faith, especially when praying for someone's soul. There is no one that can escape the hope of God. I'm sure that many in Capernaum saw this lame man and thought that nothing could be done for him, that he was hopeless, yet four men chose to believe that there was still hope for him, and look, His sins were forgiven. May we see people as Jesus sees them. May we never pass the opportunity of carrying someone to Jesus, who can forgive their sins and give them abundant life. We can be the game changer to someone, whether through prayer or in leading them to Jesus.
"...above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one." Ephesians 6:16
God Bless YOU!

It is a daily reminder that we should never lose faith and think that those who we pray for are hopeless....In Your time Lord...

Thank you, thank you, thank you! God bless you, my sister! You are beautiful!!!
Very cool. My favorite part is the hope of the friends when others had given up hope
