I love you, Lord; You are my strength. Psalm 18:1
Happy Friday!Telecast has a wonderful gift of keeping worship simple. And after reading reading Psalm 18 last night I knew with out a doubt that The Beauty of Simplicity would be our lyrical post.
Just that one verse, 18:1, busted me so bad. It got me thinking, how often do I tell the Lord that I love Him? I'll be honest with you, I don't say it enough. And I'm not trying to seem humble. I was humbled last night, convicted and corrected (I had a chair experience). I love the Lord a lot yet by love for God is conditional, my life proves it. I desire nothing more than to love the LORD my God with all my heart, with all my soul, and with all my strength (Deuteronomy 6:5). That's loving God with my entire being not just my words. Change begins one step at a time, my first step was definitely worshiping God through today's lyrical post.
God loves you just the way you are, but He refuses to leave you that way. -Max Lucado
The Challenge: To tell the Lord that I love Him continually through out my day. And because I know that I love to hear why people love me, I will tell the Lord why I love Him. I challenge you to do the same, it may be an obvious reason or a personal one. Through out our day today, and everyday after, may we say, "Lord, I love You."
Beauty of Simplicity, Telecast
Lord I love You, because you satisfy me not only with physical food but spiritual food for my hungry heart.
Why do you love the Lord? Share it with me either here in a comment, on facebook or twitter. Share it with the world too!
